For many years, Gayane Andreasyan taught in different communities across Armenia, sharing her knowledge and experience with children and young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But after the war, much changed in her life and in the way she thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEverything that happened changed my attitude toward life. I realized that I could no longer make plans. It felt as if even thinking about the future had become meaningless,\u201d Gayane says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the war, she went through deep psychological, physical, and moral pain. Through her volunteer work, she saw directly the difficulties and losses people were facing, and this affected her inner world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over time, Gayane realized that she, too, needed support. That is how she decided to take part in the Foundation\u2019s group support sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAttending the sessions became an interesting and meaningful experience. There, I began to discover my strengths and understand that difficulties are part of life \u2014 and that it is possible to overcome them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gayane says the programs helped her look at life from a new perspective, become more aware of her inner state, and begin making changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo problem can be solved by becoming weaker or giving up. We need to change our mindset, the quality of our life, and our attitude toward life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
