For Mariam Mikaelyan, taking part in the Foundation’s programs became a journey of inner transformation and discovering new possibilities.
Mariam says that during the programs, she began to know herself better, focus on her strengths, and most importantly, not be afraid of her dreams.
“I understood that it is important to set a goal, keep your eyes on it, and move toward it, even if the road is difficult,” Mariam says.
The “Strive” program helped her look at life from a new perspective and understand that difficulties are part of everyone’s journey — but they can also become an opportunity for growth and self-improvement.
With the Foundation’s support, Mariam was also able to share her knowledge and skills with others by teaching chocolate-making to children in Aparan. For her, this was not simply a course, but an opportunity to create a warm environment and pass on belief and inspiration.
Mariam is confident that recovery does not happen in one day. Life’s challenges continue, but what matters is not losing the strength to move forward.
“A person should not go backward. They should keep moving forward. And when there is a community and supportive people beside you, that journey becomes much easier.”
Today, Mariam continues her journey, believing that every person can transform their life if they find the strength to take a step toward their own goals and dreams.
